Cupcake shop on Food Network

Omaha's Jones Brothers Cupcakes is after “Cupcake Wars” redemption this weekend.

Jones Brothers owner Bill Jones and the bakery's lead baker, Marianne Martin, are returning to the Food Network show for a rematch after they lost in the final round of the show's 2011 Valentine's Day cupcake challenge.

On the show, four previous "Cupcake Wars" contestants compete against each other in three rounds of baking. One bakery is eliminated after each round of the competition until one remains. The bakers do not know what the competition cupcakes will be until the show is taped.

The show plays this Sunday at 7 p.m. and Jones Brothers is playing host to a viewing party during the premiere. The bakery will have a large television and sound system set up in the shop and will be selling cupcakes and food items. Seating is limited to around 100. After the show, the bakery will sell the same kind of cupcakes it made for the program.

Jones Brothers will be updating its website www.jonesbroscupcakes.com and its Facebook page facebook.com/jonesbroscupcakes with updates throughout the evening.

The viewing party begins at 6 p.m. at the bakery, 2121 S. 67th St.
