A Douglas County judge on Thursday set bail at $500,000 for an Omaha man charged with sexually assaulting two young boys.
Daniel R. Mangiameli, 62, will need to post 10 percent of the bail amount to be released from jail.
He is being held on four counts of sexually assaulting a child and two counts of child pornography.
"These are serious charges," said Mangiameli's attorney, J. William Gallup. "He's in a lot of trouble."
Mangiameli was extradited to Omaha after he was captured on an arrest warrant in a small Texas border town earlier this month.
Two boys who did yardwork for Mangiameli allege that he used a vibrating sex toy on them and himself to achieve sexual gratification, according to court records.
Prosecutors on Thursday accused Mangiameli of penetrating one boy and attempting to penetrate the second boy. Prosecutors also allege that Mangiameli took nude photos of the two.
