LINCOLN (AP) — A Lincoln man faces a felony assault charge after he allegedly hit his neighbor with a shovel in a dispute over where he was scooping snow from a storm that dumped more than a foot of snow on Nebraska.
Police said the 50-year-old man was seen shoveling snow onto his neighbor's vehicle Saturday. The neighbor confronted him and the man allegedly hit the neighbor in the head with the metal handle.
Police said the neighbor suffered swelling and bleeding.
The shoveler was jailed on suspicion of second-degree assault.
