Kim Robak is out too.
The Democrat and former lieutenant governor says she doesn't have enough time to raise the money necessary to mount an effective race.
Robak made her announcement today, the same day fellow Democrat Bob Kerrey said he is not running.
Her decision significantly narrows the field of Democrats who are considering a run. The other two on the list: Chuck Hassebroek, a UNL regent, and State Sen. Steve Lathrop.
"I just don't have time to be able to raise enough money to say who I am, before being obliterated with Super PAC ads," said Robak.
