The blind auditions continue in the second part of the season opener.

Another set of dates, another exotic locale for the bachelor and his ladies. This time it's Panama, where one lucky lady gets a one-on-one date on a deserted island.

"How I Met Your Mother"

7 p.m., CBS (New)

Lily asks her father for help when she and Marshall decide to throw a housewarming party. Marshall's boss annoys Ted and the two nearly come to blows.

"Heat Seekers"

7 p.m., Food Network (New)

The hosts head to Nashville, where they have a plate of particularly nasty-sounding dishes in store, including "Satan's Tongue" chicken.

"Alcatraz"

8 p.m., Fox (New)

Now the old prison guards are resurfacing. One encounters an old acquaintance after his return.

"Hoarders"

8 p.m., A&E (New)

A woman who collects items from trash bins in her affluent neighborhood probably isn't too popular with the neighbors.

"Bizarre Foods America"

8 p.m., Travel Channel (New)

Who says Americans don't have their own bizarre foods? The host stops at a Seattle farm to try cow placenta.

"Hawaii Five-0"

9 p.m., CBS (New)

A dirty cop from Danny's past comes to Hawaii to seek revenge against Danno and his family for allegedly ruining the officer's life.

"Smash"

9 p.m., NBC (New, series premiere)

It's being called "Glee" for grown-ups. This musical drama centers on a group of people staging a Broadway show, including an inexperienced chorus girl competing for the lead role against a promising newcomer.

"Castle"

9:01 p.m., ABC (New)

Castle and Beckett revisit a private eye's 1947 homicide after realizing it's connected to a present-day murder they are investigating.
