A portion of Omaha’s Big Papio Trail will be closed starting Monday.
The closing — from north of Pacific Street and south to the trail connection in One Pacific Place Park — will be in effect through March 18. A detour will be available.
The trail is being temporarily closed due to a Big Papio Creek channel stabilization project of the Papio-Missouri River Natural Resources District.
Large construction equipment on and near the trail will make it unsafe for trail users.
