Nebraska's Emily Cady captured the first Big Ten freshman of the week award in Nebraska women's basketball history Tuesday.
The 6-2 forward from Seward, Neb., averaged 18.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game against Ohio State and Minnesota, including a career-high 24 points against the Buckeyes.
Cady is averaging to 9.7 points and 5.9 rebounds per game and lead the Huskers in blocks with 15.
