    Exstrom, Fox help Mavs claim first win

    UNO's soccer team won its first game on Thursday, defeating Missouri Western 2-0.

    Bri Exstrom scored twice for the Mavs (1-0-2). Goalkeeper Lauren Fox earned the shutout. The University of Nebraska at Omaha outshot the Griffons 7-1.

    The Mavs travel to Kirksville, Mo., on Saturday to take on top-ranked Truman State at noon.

    Missouri Western.....................0 0—0
    At UNO (1-0-2).................................1 1—2
    Goals: UNO, Exstrom 2.
