EDMOND, Okla. — The UNO soccer team lost its second game of the season, bowing to Midwestern State 2-1 in the Broncho Invite at Central Oklahoma.
Hilary Horvatic knocked in the only goal for the Mavs.
All three goals in the game came in a span of 1:37 of the second half. Midwestern State got on the board when Kelsey Hill converted a pass from Lindsay Pritchard at 61:30.
Just five seconds later, Pritchard got loose and fired the ball past UNO goalkeeper Lauren Fox to make it 2-0.
Horvatic tallied her first goal of the season at 63:07 when her cross into the box ricocheted into the goal.
UNO (0-2) faces Missouri Western in its’ home and MIAA opener on Thursday at 3 p.m.
