    Mizzou back gone for good

1:20 p.m.: Missouri's clear-cut No. 1 running back, senior Derrick Washington, has been "permanently suspended'' from the team, the university announced Tuesday afternoon.

Washington is facing a felony charge of sexual deviate behavior in a connection with a June incident.

The 6-foot, 215-pounder from suburban Kansas City was expected to have a big year after shedding weight and getting healthy after a subpar junior season.

Washington finishes with 2,085 career rushing yards and 28 touchdowns, plus 65 receptions for 503 yards and three touchdowns.

The backs who were behind Washington on the depth chart are smaller and don't move the pile as well. They are:

    Kendial Lawrence, sophomore, 5-9, 190

    De'Vion Moore, junior, 5-9, 195

    Nikko Sansone, freshman, 5-9, 180
