DENISON — The Crawford County Hospital Board of Trustees this week approved a $34 million budget for fiscal year 2011.
Taxpayers will see a 40-cent increase in the property tax levy from the hospital to meet the property tax asking of $1.1 million.
The current fiscal year’s property tax asking is $740,618 with a tax levy of $1.16 per $1,000 of assessed valuation.
Other than property taxes, the hospital’s revenue comes from patient charges.
The budget — including the property tax levy of $1.56 per $1,000 of valuation — was approved by the board 4-3.
