LINCOLN — Ndamukong Suh and others from last year’s senior class at Nebraska won’t be the only ones going through the Huskers’ pro day workouts Thursday.
Former NU I-back Marlon Lucky has been training in Lincoln and will test with about a dozen others at the Hawks Center and Osborne Complex. Lucky signed with Cincinnati as an undrafted free agent last year but was waived by the Bengals in late August.
Others taking part in NU pro day who played their final season in 2008 will be cornerback Armando Murillo, fullback Thomas Lawson and defensive lineman Shukree Barfield.
Suh, of course, is the main attraction for NFL scouts and front-office personnel. The potential No. 1 overall draft pick likely won’t do much Thursday after taking part in all testing at the NFL Combine.
The other seniors from last year’s team set for pro day are Larry Asante, Phillip Dillard, Barry Turner, Matt O’Hanlon, Chris Brooks, Menelik Holt and David Harvey. Asante and Dillard also worked out at the NFL Combine.
