Seth Budde had a bases-loaded double to start the scoring for Northern Colorado, and Harrison Lambert closed the seven-run inning with a grand slam.
Ty Blach kept Creighton in the game after the first, throwing 6.2 innings while allowing just one run and striking out seven.
